Julius Hodge was born in Harlem, New York New York in 1983. He went to St.Raymond High School for boys ran by De La Salle christian brothers in the Bronx. He was named New York State Mr.Basketball his senior year. He was on the New York all-metro squad, named player of the year by the New York Daily News, and set his high school scoring record for most in season. Left high school as the ESPN's #1 shooting guard and #5 Recruit.
Hodge went on from high school to play for North Carolina State.
During the 2001-2002 season Hodge avg 10 points a game and was named to the 2nd team all ACC tournament team.
Ok a lot from now on will be slight rumor/unprovable info considering Ive lost the ability to search for it. Like during Hodge's freshman year during the last game that may of took place in the ACC or NCAA tournament he fouled someone at the end of the game during a tie or 1 point game and they lost the game because of that. I think he fouled someone behind the three point line which really screwed his team.
In 2003-2003 Hodge had 7 double doubles and recorded the NC state only ever Triple Double. At one point during the season he led his team to back to back wins over Duke and North Carolina. I hope as your reading this you realize the kind of legend in the making Julius Hodge was.
In the 2004-2005 season were going to skip ahead right to the big time stories. The First round of the ACC tournament. Wake Forest vs NC State. Chris Paul vs Julius Hodge. I like to think of it as the one Extremely Dark part of Chris Paul's career before he became a New Orleans Hornet and had his whole life changed for the better.
This wake forest game is a life changing moment in the life of Julius Hodge. Wake Forest went on to win that game. Chris Paul went onto to be a lottery pick all-star super franchise million dollar player. Upon further research there was rumored to be hateful crowd chants during the game about Chris Paul's grandfather who died a few days before the game took place.
Chris Paul may have redeemed himself while playing for the Hornets but it will never undue the damage it did to Julius Hodge. New York Cities best high school player, the star shooting guard, the college savior of NC State, The game dominator, the game winner. Julius Hodge continued to do some great things a few more times before tragedy would soon strike almost legendary career.
NCAA Tournament, NC State was a 10th seed, Uconn was the defending champs, a 2nd seen. Uconn had at least 3 future first round pics on the team. Marcus Williams, Charlie Villanueva, and Rudy Gay. After Uconn Tied it up at 62-62 with 17 seconds left Julius Hodge brought the ball up the court and he has been quoted with saying he saw Rudy Gay smiling at him as he defended him, like he knew he was going to win the game.
As the highlight below will show, Hodge then took the ball to the hoop for 2 and the And 1. NC State won and beat the defending champs 65-62 behind Julius Hodge's heroics.
Julius Hodge was the New York Basketball Legend in the making. No one knew how hard he was about to fall.
Julius Hodge is selected 2oth overall by the Denver Nuggets in the NBA draft. During his rookie year he plays 14 games and averaged 0.9 ppg and 2.4 mpg.
On April 6h 2006 after leaving a Denver area nigh club a car pulled up next to Hodge's car and fired shots on his car. This occurred at 2 AM on interstate 76, it was later to be revealed that Hodge was within 5 minutes of bleeding to death.
January 5th 2007 Hodge starts his first NBA game and 6 days later he is traded to the bucks with Earl Boykins for Steve Blake. A month later he is waived by the Bucks.
Outside of a 2007 summer league stint with the debunk Seattle Supersonics this is the last the NBA has seen him.
In August of 2007 Hodge is singed to an Italian league team (Cimberio Varese)then he was transferred (why can't they say traded?) to another Italian league team (Legea Scafati)
By December of the same year Hodge signs with an Australian NBL league team (Adelaide 36ers)After finishing his contract he resigned for the 2008-2009 season. He was league dominator while with the 36ers but that isn't the part of the story were here to talk about.
January 9th 2009 Julius Hodge sits out a game over payment disputes of his contract and he is released upon request of his agent. The truth to this story is hard to find. I have heard rumors that he was paid the first time then paid again and still disputed payment with the 36ers. Either way he was released by the team.
for the 2009-2010 season Julius Hodge played a few games for the Melbourne Tigers to help with some injury issues, He dominated like he had with the 36ers, scoring 20+ and getting 7-9 rebounds and 7-9 assists, a triple double threat every night.
I have found a site he has that barely works (24hodge.com) which includes his facebook, youtube, blog, and twitter.
This video is from a camp he ran last year, I am slowly trying to track own what he is currently doing, this is from March 24ths. His blogs stop on july 13 2010.
He still currently tweets from @Follow24Hodge.
It has also been found out of his basketball camp Hodge has been helping out at his Alma Mater NC State. I can't get much more details upon this since the site has been on touched for over a year and doesn't really work well.
There has been non-provable articles of Julius Hodge signing with the nets. He may of even played a little for them but i cannot prove this. That is all i know of him up to this date.
Julius Hodge was the Legend, He was the one. He came balling out of Harlem. He went to NC State and beat Duke and North Carolina back to back. Beat the defending champs Uconn and there 3 future first round picks. We can look at the Chris Paul incident and the denver shooting as career killers to this future legend. What would have been?

Scotty Anderson (The Ex Lion)
Scotty Anderson played his college ball at Grambling State University. He holds school career receiving records for total receptions (195) total receiving yards (3,334) and receiving touchdowns (35). I believe he was a biletnikoff award finalist during his senior year. He may of been in the spotlight for the award and not finalized but he was expected to have a chance to win it.
In 2001 he was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 5th round. He played on the team till 2003 and finished with 54 receptions 858 yards and 4 touchdowns in 34 total games played.

(This picture belongs to Sports Illustrated and not to me, they have the rights of this and im not really legally doing this right so dont tell no one k?)
Upon further research my memory has been proven almost right. In 2001, the Rookie years for scotty anderson and mike mike mcmahon. They lost 27-29 on thanksgiving to the packers. Mike McMahon completed a 29 yard touchdown pass to Scotty Anderson to make the score 27-29. They then failed on the 2 point conversion and lost the game to fall to 0-10.

(This one is the same, Sports Pics or something owns the rights to this one, not me. Im most likely not legally using this the right way so dont tell no one k?)
Scotty Anderson was let go after 2003, Mike McMahon was also let go eventually to. He got picked up by the Eagles or something, maybe he was traded, im not perfect here.
According to Wikipedia (if you thought i was doing research on "real" websites you were wrong haha) Scotty played for the Grand Rapids Rampage AFL team during 2007. I can vouch for them too because i remember looking him during that and finding him on there roster.
Scotty Anderson to me is the player the Lions should of kept, But instead they went with guys like Charles Rogers and Mike Williams and Roy Williams.
Now lets see if we can find some Scotty Anderson internet stuff for you to E-stalk him on if you wish.
